i got kinda homesick tonight :(

Today, overall, was good! Me and Liz (the AMAZING girl I was talking about in the post before this) walked a really really long way over to her friends apartment to swim and layout. It was good because all the people that were there were from the church we've been going to. Me and Liz might join the young life organization that's here on campus. I'd be pretty excited. And we found out the times of FCA and Campus Crusades. Then we went to go see You, Me and Dupree with Kristen, this other girl I met through Liz, and Adam called me and I got to talk to him and I miss that kid so much! Along with everyone else. And then I got back here and I saw that I had an email from Benny. I still can't believe he's leaving :( And tomorrow Adam said they're having a party thing over at my grandma's house. And I can't be there....oh well though 2 weeks and I can see everyone again. But tonight hanging out with Liz and Kristen felt like being home. So it was good. I'm so glad me and Liz have become such great friends. We have so much in common and we can keep each other in line and follow God together while a lot of other people are doing other things. Anyway, I miss you guys so much and I hope that everyone who went to Mississippi had an amazing time! See you soon!!! :)

Oh and Hanny's may come to see me on her way back from Mississippi!! :) :) :)
And me, her, Erin, and Jessica get to go see Teddy Geiger on August 12th!!!!! yay!

God=amazing...in case you forgot, i know i did for a few days....

Hey everyone! It was good to go home this past weekend. My grandpa's memorial service was beautiful. It was really nice. And the fact that all/most of my family was together was another good thing. I got to spend time with them and it was good. I didn't end up leaving from Orlando until 8:30 ish so I didn't get back here until 1:30. Good times. And the next morning getting up at 8 was loads of fun too. HA! But I have an amazing story to tell of how God is SO freaking amazing. I went home and I was thinking about it and the one thing I was having a problem with was meeting Christian people. I seriously hadn't met any. On Saturday, a senior from the Baptist Church here in Tallahassee called and said she could give me rides to church on Sundays. I was so excited. I couldn't go this past Sunday because of obvious reasons, but still I have someone to go with! There's more to this amazing-ness. I met this girl in my English class and the only thing that I really knew about her was that she played volleyball. So immediately we had a connection. Then I went home and talked with different people about how college had been going and stuff. I was telling Fayez about my roommate and some other random people I had been meeting and how they drink every night and I hadn't met any Christian people. Then I went home and prayed and stuff and then that night I came home and I saw that this girl from my English class emailed me saying how excited she was that I was a Christian (she saw on my facebook) and she was saying she was having the same problem not finding anyone who doesn't go out and drink and stuff. I almost screamed I was so excited. Then I got back here and we were talking about where we're living in the fall and we're both living in the same building!!!!! We're not roommates but we're in the same dorm!!! Crazy huh? Prayer is so powerful and I'm so thankful and I can rest assured that God will take care of me no matter where I am, here or at home. I was hanging out with her last night and being around her felt like home, we did stuff that I'm used to doing...we went and got ice cream and watched a movie. We played volleyball for like 2 hours yesterday and we're going again. God is so amazing. Just thought I'd share that with you because it made me so excited and I'm relieved to have someone to share my walk with Christ. Things are great. I miss home still, but I have the assurance of someone here who has a little bit of my close friends in her. :)
